wish upon a star

the weather has been insane for the past few days. the week before, it was hot as sin. so hot that i could wear my tank tops out with nothing at all, and i could hardly sleep at night. the small fan i have is not helping much. =.= we even had a water fight on the way back from the gym! more like Britt threw some water on me and i couldn't not retaliate, so there you go. xD and then it turned so bloody cold this week. temperature was at eight degrees last night. EIGHT. i'm not even in the double digits anymore! Dx

ooh, Brit and Carly made mexican food for us last week too! mainly cause me, frank and fish have no idea what tacos or enchilada's are, and they were horrified. I have to say, while I like taco's and enchiladas though, I love love love guacamole they made with avocado and sour cream. I've never eaten avocado before, and while I suspect I wouldn't like the fruit as it is, making it in to nachos dip is the best thing invented since sliced bread. *drools*

Pam messaged all of us partway through dinner though, and apparently it was Ken's birthday the next day, hence midnight celebration! The cake she made was gorgeous. O-o

I can't remember what Frank got in trouble for though, but he got in trouble and Pam served him the epic nipple cripple. xD It was hilarious, you've gotta be there to see it. But video's up on youtube! *shot*

Grocery shopping is making me lazy lately. Never take for granted the presence and luxury of a car, I swear my legs are going to gain muscles from all the walking I do here. Their sausages are amazing though. I've never had sausages this good back home. :Q

Oh, made teh tarik for the guys the other night! Technically la, my best shot at teh tarik. Because I was craving for some good milk tea, and they said they wanted some too. Oddly enough, the nitpicky idiots actually said it tastes good! xD

Had dinner with Fish only the other night! Two potato freaks eating all things potato. She made mashed potato, which was heavenly, and I made my layered creamed potatoes. It was amazinggg. :Q

Random advertisement break! This girl is adorable. I'm going to miss her majorly when I go back. Actually, I'm going to miss everyone majorly when I go back. T_T Tickets booked already!! And while I can't say I don't want to go back, I'm going to miss this place horribly, and everyone in this place. T_T

Oh, bought a kindle cover the other day! It finally arrived on Monday. My kindle has clothes now! No more chances of getting scratches on it, and hopefully this will protect it from any other malfunctions like what happened last time too. *cross fingers*

And now I have to return to doing work. Its an avalanche of assignments, readings and work in general, and I have to get them all done if I want any hope of me having a holiday during mid-sem break, and going down to the city during weekends. Dx

Midvalley on Sunday before the cousins went home! This was on Christmas Eve, and to find a parking was horrendous. It took us 45 minutes. D: The decorations there was gorgeous though, and I loved these pseudo merry-go-round horses! They looked so much like the music boxes I saw in S&J, and I loved those. xP

The bears they had on decoration was huge too. Like seriously, HUGE. The leg itself was the size of the beanbags we had in school, except less fat.

Dinner at Madam Kwan's was alright, but I love the veggie the mother ordered. It was... so aromatic, though the portion they gave was a bit too tiny. It was reallyyy good. But then again, Madam Kwan's cost a bomb, so it'll probably be a while before I go back there. A while meaning a couple of years. xD

Again, not much shopping done in Midvalley, cause I think we bought our fill already. But we went grocery shopping! Cause it was Christmas Eve, me and the cousin wanted to make Christmas Eve supper. xD

We even set the table prettily for the clock to strike 12 and invite Christmas in. Even if we don't usually celebrate Christmas, but me and the cousin just wanted an excuse to cook up a storm. xP

Pizza! I tried to copy what Dave's did, and used mayonnaise for the base spread, instead of tomato paste. I think I like it that way. xP

And the clock strikes 12. Merry Christmas to everybody and then we omnom'ed all our food. well, not all since it was so late and we couldn't finish everything at once, but we ate with gusto anyway, cause we had dinner early. xP

Headed back home to the Grandma's place in Kedah on Monday! Time spent with cousins is always awesome, and even more now that we don't have to harp on our parents to bring us out these days. xD

The younger batch. xD We were burning the bullet ants outside of the house when it started raining, and of course the younger ones can't bear to be away from the action, so we gave them an umbrella. xD

And the older batch. Yes, we get an umbrella too. Though unlike the kids, we don't all fit under one umbrella. xD

Cousins' birthday on 29th! So we celebrated it for her on the stroke of midnight. Surprised her actually. I was holding her captive and unknown in the backroom while the rest of the cousins prepare in front, so the pictures were taken by cousin's osm DSLR outside. xD

Group picture! Not everyone here though, cause it was late and some had went over to my uncle's house, but good enough for now.

again, eating. We tend to eat at all hours of the day somehow. Dx Not good. But Chocolate Indulgence was good!♥

The next day, her birthday, I promised her I'd make pizza for her. So I did. At 11pm. Because we went out to eat Jawa Mee at 4pm, and we weren't hungry during dinner. xD Speaking of Jawa Mee, I'd post up pictures of all my favourite food back at home, but I can't! Cause I stupidly, accidentally deleted all my pictures. T_T But stuff like Jawa Mee, Hokkien Mee, Wantan Mee, curry mee... all the stuff I don't eat here, I'll take them back at Penang. Because they is epiclly good there, somehow.

We headed off to Penang Island on my third last day there, because its like... some tradition or something. Oh, of course we wanna eat the food there too. But before that, pictures with the gramma and grandpa!

Two days in a row, first day is D&D by MDFC on Thursday evening! The night before production. Did the dance Miss Sharon taught us with KML, but weee she has the video and I forgot to get it from her so yay lets go! xD

Skipping all the way to production day because after D&D we basically performed and ran all the way back to rehearsals because goddamnits its production night tomorrow. Oh look! KML brought hangers with almost the same colors! xD

I got dragged in to the boys toilet cause he wanted to do his hair. xD The boys toilet had a lot of holes in the roof! Spies much. :p

DANNY ZUKO! Very very Danny Zuko, no kidding. :p

They all had awesome hair, but Leisha's pwns all. Darn, I couldn't even recognize her until I walked closer to her and went "Lei?!" O-O. Because honestly, the hair is outrageous. xD

Backstage was really messy of course, but we cleaned up so that we can run back and forth from stage left to right without much disturbance.

Hairspray 2010♥ The year that will never be forgotten, and the people I will definitely never forget. I feel so heartsick as the year draws to a close, because the idea that I will probably never see some of you ever again makes me want to cry like no tomorrow. Dx

Actually had lunch with the Momzers at Empire the next day after production, something I haven't been doing for a long time, ever since rehearsals started. Fruit mix something at Pasta Zanmai is super good! Omnyomnyom. xD

Cousin's birthday party on saturday night! Party for ten year old kids actually, so I wasn't too keen on going. But its my cousin so I couldn't say no. Thus! I went in hand with ten pink and pearl balloons! Yes of course I camwhored with it before I gave it to her. Is that even a question?

Cute baby niece Wei Wei who eats everything and wants more! She's super adorable.

And she lets anyone carry her! Not really fussy too. :p

Newborn Jenson! He's so tiny, and when my cousin passed him to me to babysit for a while, I was a little iffy about carrying him. But he's super precious! ♥

Birthday girl opening her presents with her friends. The din in the house that night was ridiculous, and I was feeling so tired after production I just sat there and watched as she had her fun. Her mother was the one doing all the work though. xD

While the girls were preoccupied with the pink presents! The guys were watching gore and horror on screen. xD
