can't decide

now i can't decide if the boredom is letting up or not. xD the whole week has been pretty busy, because the residents association has been keeping us filled with many many activities, and making friends with the RA's have gotten me in the fun too! sorta anyway.

I got away from playing grubby games by saying I was helping Pam prepare the food! Seriously, I did not want to play it. It involved getting down and dirty, wet oats and ketchup poured all over you, and I value my clothes too much to get myself in to that!! So instead, I stuck inside South 4 and stayed in the kitchen with Pam and Faezah to prepare dinner for the players. Pam got attacked. Thank god I stayed inside walls. xD

last night on thursday they had free dinner and movie under the stars! first time watching an outdoor movie, but i have to say, i adored it! it was gorgeous, walking around the grounds chatting with Tong, getting amused watching the guys play with 'optimus prime' ants, and eating buttered popcorn and fairy floss! and then at 8.30, they started the movie, Inception, which I can finally say I've watched. xD The movie was not too bad, but the experience was gorgeous. It go ridiculously cold halfway through the movie though, and by the end of it, you see me, Pam, Frank and Tong half speed walking back to our rooms, because it was so bloody cold and all I had was a scarf. Ridiculous weather changes here.

What I didn't manage to get a picture of though, was the gorgeous gorgeous stars they have here! Kenneth was telling me about it, but it wasn't till last night when I got to see it, and I have to say they were gorgeous. Pictures will not do them justice, because its really really mindblowing. Unlike KL or the city, here you look up and it literally looks like diamonds got embedded in the sky. I swear I could even almost see the milky way, and constellations! So pretty<3<3

My feet. I feel like cutting them off wtf. Try dancing without shoes on parquet floor, trust me, its the worst of worst. T_T On the bright side, finished com assignment yesterday! Now in the words of these two, its time to switch boyfriends. Meet the new one, his name is film & television studies. But i'll start on it tomorrow, too lazy. Now, lets backtrack to... two weeks ago? PROM NIGHTT♥

VOTE VOTE VOTE. oh, drama story. So apparently, we were given a choice between table I6 and K6, so we chose I6 cause it was an aisle seat, and very close to the stage. But then, this silly tittering group came and went all 'No we have to sit here. You guys should move, because we booked it first!' or something along those lines anyway. So we initially didn't want to move, but in the end we moved cause we didn't want to cause unnecessary drama. Longer story then this, but thats the gist. BUT STILL. Nothing will ruin prom night for us~

Nominees for Mr. and Miss Monash! The crown bearer was Fumie, and she had a beyond gorgeous dress to wear as she brought them in. /flails

And it took so long for the food to come out! But when it did, the first course was deelish! I'm no veggie person, but goddamnit they had cheesy mayo PLUS extra blue cheese! How could you ever resist something as pwnful as that!



Main course was okay okay nia, so I didn't bother taking a picture. But the dessert was really pretty! Strawberry mousse apparently, but it tasted more like raspberry cake to me. xP



Really pretty prom tickets! They looked like credit cards, but since KML said there were prettier ones she's seen before, I shall digress. xD

Dance floor opened after that! Awww look at the couples dancing. I went to dance while Ikky was performing, but I didn't bother after that cause it was a slow song. The date and I tried waltzing, but since both of us were in dresses it didn't really work out. xD



Flower from KML! Got home around... yeah. Never mind. But point is, I got home late, and had to get up like ridicu - effing - lously early the next morning. Woken up by someone who sounded way too happy to be alive at such a freaking early time. So needless to say, I got to the temple feeling like the bottom of the garbage pile.



But we had our amazing race! After our weeks of labor, it came to fruition! And its pretty good too, for first timers like ourselves. Thats them playing the clump game!



We played with the blindfolds before they had to use them. NINJA-NESS!

My station was the boring one, because I had to study for my japanese exam that day and I wanted some peace and quiet. This girl was really cute though! She kept singing and humming random tunes while she worked, and was utter adorableness in pint size. xD


Went home to penang the next day!

Mama had some random surgery done on her lip, so she had to eat soft foods. So I brought baked beans! Not that she likes them, but she didn't have a choice, hah!



Was to visit the grandmother actually, since she's not been at her best lately. But at night we headed out for dinner session with the cousins. Whats a trip to penang without food, nya? My favourite jawa mee stall was closed though. T_T


Had wantan mee instead! I only eat the ones in Penang, and I hardly, if ever touch the ones in KL. They're so different. >.<



Went home the very next day though, since I had class and already skipped FTV in the morning. Again, obligatory dadih on the way home! I can never find them here, only in Penang. ><

Yes, another one cause I completely lost track of where I last stopped, and there's honestly not much events happening lately. Well, there was prom last night, and the amazing race this morning, but i have so much backlog of pictures! Dx

Outing with the high school besties! More then half of them couldn't make it though, so I only had Meimei and Pru with me. Dx Still! Does not change much, we still have fun! Though I demand dinner with you guys sometimes, honestly. Dx

Had lunch at the Korean street food stall there, which was awesome. Except their mineral water is dodgy. Spy the masking tape!

Had to rush off for movie afterwards, Grown Ups! But omg I found this gorgeous gorgeous dress there at Asian Avenue before we went for movie! Is so much loves!

Which was why I dragged my mom out the next day to go shopping! For one, to get my Diva stash, for another to get the dress! Though I ended up getting the brown one instead of the gold one, cause momma said it looked like pillow casing prints. xD Haven't worn it yet though! No matching shoes. Dx

PoT shirt I saw in Comic! Is so cute! I wanted the other one with Eiji, Tezuka, Fuji and Ryoma on it though. My four favourites! But couldn't find it. T_T

Green tea tiramisu at Pasta Zanmai! I still think Pasta Zanmai is way too pricy for me to go myself, but with momma is okay. ^_^

At night had open house at a neighbours house. I have no idea who are they, but I met Arif! Engineering second year dude who was going to threathen me with horror stories, but I ran away.

Lamb chop! apparently Arif grilled them himself, impressive. xD

Random cookies! With Arif talking to the stepdaddy. Not very interesting models, but I only took it cause the cookies were delish♥!

Went to One U with the nonsense people on monday! Cause Fikri very kindly cancelled class cause he wanted an extra day off for raya, but we're not complaining! xD Oh yes, the scarecrow was in One U. Yes, One U was changed in to a paddy field. :p

marriages + movies + jap food = friends all around!

Attended a wedding last week! Weddings are fun, mainly because you get to wear a pretty dress and not look out of place. Hee. I amassed like, three or four formal dresses two years back cause of the amount of weddings in my family requiring me to either be the bridesmaid or sit at the family table, so I have to find a place and time to wear all of them right!

Wedding was at Hilton, and the venue itself was so pretty. Albeit, too many people, but thats to be expected. It was Auntie Joanna's daughter getting married! They even had a cocktail party before the wedding itself, so posh.

The place overlooked KL city! So pretty! It was the whole of Hilton's Grande Ballroom, so yes, huge.

Real flowers! Fresh roses and carnations yo, with candles abundant. All so prettyz. x_x

The main table was huge! You could fit another three people on the table in fact.

But the chocos were yummies! Its omnomznomz and I took it home with me. Hee.

I really liked the video though! You know how weddings always have a photo slideshow and then a video of the tea ceremony and all of that? This one was really well shot! Felt like crying after I watched it, so pretty♥

Went to watch movie with JJ and Ben the night before the Malacca trip! Marmaduke is pwnsome, I don't know why so many people don't know him. Its actually a story of a Great Dane being displaced from his home in Kansas to.... California I think? Where he has to learn the hierarchy of doggy world. It was pretty awesome, of course its an added factor that the main pooch is taller then your dining table. Hee.

Sakae Sushi after movie for dinner! They finally added gyoza to their menu, after so many god damn years. About time. Its not very nice, but its gyoza and it'll do. xD

Chuka! Jellyfish! i forgot the full name, Chuka something, but its awesome. Albeit not that fresh in Sakae. I think Rakuzen's one is the best.

Their potato croquette was blah. Flabby and soft and overly salty sauce, bluekz. And it was tiny! =.=

Potato inari! Yummy-ness! And also cause they don't stuff the bottom half with rice! the whole pocket was filled with potato salad goodness, omnomnom. Awesome thing.

I'll update on Malacca in the next post, too lazy to load everything. There's more then hundred of pictures there! But hee, I regretted not taking videos, or it'd be awesome. ;_;
