random updares v5.

Life has been pretty bland for me lately, after coming back from Penang. Its just wake up, eat, computer, watch tv, eat, sleep. I feel like clockwork again. The only fun thing I've done was go watch Princess and the Frog with Ben and Jase last Friday. The movie was pwnsome, and the time spent with friends even more so. But life at home is so boring~

Registered at Monash on Saturday. It was open day anyway, so I registered for the one offered to me, Bachelor of Communications. After that, I went to look around... and changed my mind to Bachelor of Arts. Its a little bit of a hassle though, and I'm sorry I caused so much trouble for the admin people at the PSO. D=

But I do hope everything comes through, because I prefer Bachelor of Arts much more now. I get to take Communication and Journalism, and get a minor in Writing too. It also means I get to improve on my writing, as opposed to learning only Communication stuff in BA of Comm. They say the letter will arrive to me by courier by this week, so I hope it comes. *is worried*

Just came home from dinner from uncle's house. Dinner was awesome as usual. The stepcousin is back from Australia since I think he overstayed his visa? But anyway, I had the awesome pickle veggies and pork ribs again.

My absolute favorite<3 I have to get the recipe from the stepuncle, seriously. Its bloody good.

Oh, of course, saw the elusive doggie again.

He doesn't run away from me. Just my camera. Without my camera he cuddles up to me like I'm his personal soft toy, but god forbid when I take out the shiny object. He runs helter skelter to the other end of the house. God know why his such a camera shy dog, seriously.

And that about sums up my week? Ho hum boredom sporedom. But I'm going to Singapore at the end of next week, Thursday night to be accurate. 8D

goodbye

Went back to college today to collect my results. I was... surprisingly happy when I stepped in to campus again today, after a long month plus of not being there. Truthfully, my last year in Sunway College doing MUFY was a super enjoyable one for me. I love every second of it.

Breakfast at White's. Just for information, there's three coffeeshops near the Sunway Campus, not including Rock Cafe. But all three of them are nameless, so we just call them by their wall colors. There's Pink, Orange, and White. People usually go to White's for their chicken rice, as did I.

The chicken rice at White's is heavenly. For starters, the white steamed chicken is always tender, though they didn't have it today, sadly for me. But they always put the fried garlic on top of their meat, making everything extra tasty.

The soup is super good too. No idea what makes it good, but its good, and I always ask for an extra bowl.

Friends and I headed to see teacher's after we got our results, as well as hand in our Student ID cards and get our deposits back. Oh! And to certify our LAN subjects too, which by the way, I passed all, which means no more hateful Malaysian Studies and Moral anymore, yay yay yay!

Sadly for us, the only teacher we managed to see was Ms. Rajamaney. The rest of them weren't around, though I did leave a note at Ms. Uma's pigeonhole. How could I not? I adore her, she was like a mother to me during my sem. I wish I could've seen her though, I miss her. =(

Sunway College, thankyou for the memories<3 The lovely classes, the lunches at the Hospitality restaurant (which is awesome, i might add. xP), the walks to Rock Cafe, the playing of games to decide where to eat, the bubble tea (which I didn't get today. T_T). Basically, everything of everything, I'll forever cherish them. But Monash University, here I come!

penang!

Penang, the land where I somehow always end up going home with shopping from. xD I somehow love shopping at Queensbay and Gurney, and Batu Ferhinggi especially, though things proves opposite for my cousins.

We reached there late for the first day though, so we went to Esplanade for a walk first, where its really windy. For dinner, my uncle brought us to an awesome place for dinner - 'dua qiu ka', or literally translated, its "Under the Big Tree", which is basically a restaurant built under a huge tree.

The enviroment isn't fantastic. In fact, for first impressions, its horrible. But the food is godawesome.

My two favorites, pai kut ong and fried... something. I was never sure what it is, but I still take in multiple pieces at each seating. xP

The next day we were scheduled to go to Gurney for a shopping trip, but before that, it was lunch at Kulim! Uncle said it was a meal which consisted of only fish. Five fish dishes and one veggie, and it was really outback. What I didn't expect, was that it was really out back.

Go through roads like this, which was passable for one car only. Had to go on grass if there was an oncoming car. xp

Heck we even saw cows! Who looked so bloody thin I wonder what were they for. Definitely not for their meat, I doubt we'd be able to scrape any off their bones.

We ended up here. A god awesome place. We were surrounded with places like this.

Its actually a restaurant where they serve fish dishes with the fish freshly caught from their surrounding lakes. They even have four or five guard dogs to take care of them!

The place is really small, with not even cement floor. And it doesn't open at night, I didn't even have to ask to come to that conclusion. Why? Take a look at the roof. Notice the lack of lights? xP

The only drink served there. Its either this or plain water.

But the dishes were awesome. I'm no fish person, but this I wouldn't mind. The fish was fresh, easily identifiable. I loved the way they cook it, and the sting ray was god awesome. Going back there a second time I wouldn't mind, just not too often. The place is super out of the way. xP

Thats about it. The last two days was spent shopping in Gurney and Queensbay, and went to Ferhinggi at night and almost got raided by police, who went for the DVD stalls there. xP I miss the cousins now. D8

prince charming

Words can't describe, it can't express
A feeling that try as you might, you wouldn't be able to assess
Its from holding hands, from hearing sweet words
From seeing one being care for the well being of another
No one can be alone, that's a fete not possible
Everyone needs someone to cuddle
It may take a year, it may take a century
But I believe I'll one day find my own love story

Ignore me. Too much of romance stuff is getting to my head. Its back to watching dramas now! For the love. <3<3

back to my home!

No matter what, Sungai Petani and Penang would always be my eternal home. Home is where the heart is, no? And my home is with my family, both in Penang and here. So as much as I hate long car rides because they make me sicker then a seal, I'd still endure it for them.

This is my usual hangout spot in my grandma's house. xD It looks as messy as a pigsty, but I spent practically half my time here.

My grandma's house is pretty antique actually. Its been standing ever since my aunts was born, which makes it about a good and solid 50 years now. Its a single storey banglo with 5 rooms, and the place practically brims with activity whenever the family gathering comes around. The place holds many many memories for me, and I love it dearly.

But frankly, there's not much to do there. No internet line, my grandma watches the Astro most of the time so we usually don't watch it, and only one mall. So what do we do but bond? xD Went to my uncles house that night.

Cousin whose three or four years younger then me. Holy crap, he grew!

The last time I saw him, which was about a year ago, I swear he still had a kid voice and was standing at my shoulder. Now his taller then me by 2 cm, and his voice is definitely matured. I got the shock of my life when I heard him. xP

His sister's aka my cousin sister's room. Pink galore.
This is only 1/4 of the barbie doll collection she has, its extensive. xP

Second day was mostly spent lazing around. In the room.

I cooked for them! Made pizza for the kids as well as spaghetti of which I forgot to take a picture of. Somehow they love my cooking, and I fish for compliments, shameless that I am. So I gladly cook for them. xP

Went to Penang on the third day! =D

i lost count. Its the last day of cuzzins in KL.

Yosh! I'm home from Penang and never feeling emptier. My rowdy cousins are all back to their respective homes, and its CNY for the next family gathering. Without the noisy cousins feels a lil empty, but lets head to update on genting without further ado, non?

I said before, I love theme parks. This was no different. Being in a park where there was laughter and joy in abundance made me feel like a kid again, and I love the feeling. Carefree, with no worries at all. Even the worry about my results were pushed to the back of my mind during the two days I was there.

Family with me made everything quadraple the fun! They always makes things double the fun. I've been an only child for as long as ever, and my cousins are my siblings to me. My brother, as much as I love him, is no help since his 12 years elder then me, but my cousins pwn. xP

We mostly went on the adrenaline rides, since thats what theme parks are for. Roller coasters especially, give you this awesome adrenaline rush. I love the feeling like your heart is left where you previously were, as you go rushing down in the ride. My hair was tied up luckily, or I'd have looked like a banshee at the end of the day. xP

Played photographer for the cousin when she found a completely scenic place after a granite archway. It looked like a garden overhanging the theme park, and was utterly gorgeous.

My lil cousin wanted to ride the pirate ship though. This one was not as good as the one in Lagoon, which goes much higher, and frankly its just unamusing. But since the little one wanted to go, we went with him anyway. xP I as sms-ing in the ride wtf. xP

There were these game stalls set up in the theme park of Genting though. I have no idea if they were recent or not, but they are awesome. As opposed to the ones outside, these gamestalls have the CUTEST SOFT TOYS. The pink seahorse and the teddy bears especially, are awesome. Me and my elder cousin had no luck though.

But this little guy here, had Lady Luck on his side for the whole day.

Six soft toys, ALL won by him. I got the mini pink seahorse, but he won his elder sister the jumbo sized one, a teddy bear, two small ones and a medium sized cow for himself. Lucky innhe?

I loved the damn bears so much I even cajoled one of the guy who manned the stalls to lend me one of the bears for a picture. They're so damn fluffy and cuddly and adorable and... ahh! <3<3
I lent the teddy bear for sleeping purposes that night. Too cute to NOT cuddle with. xP

The next day we went to Ripley's Believe it or Not exhibition! Which IMO, was totally worth it. Though I kinda got creeped out at some parts, and I was constantly having goosebumps, but I totally loved it.

This creeped me out. I've always been a little creeped out by stuff like this ever since the research project on death penalties I did last term. Shouldn't have looked inside the doors of the english prison.

Literal chastity belt.

And a vampire hunting kit. Want one Jess? Comes complete with a silver bullet and garlic! Though wasn't silver bullets for werewolves?

Ride home was awesome. I love cold air in Genting. xP
